The quiet lies beneath the darkness — keeping close to it’s roots, like a seed in the ground waiting for it’s moment to bloom.

It waits there, unannounced and patient, for you to finally take heed to it’s noiseless siren call.

The arrow the world has let loose upon your heart sinks deep into your veins, but those who know the pain survive.

They pull the shattered pieces from their broken heart and come back even stronger with a newfound inner voice.

Those who truly listen to the song the silence sings know the beauty of it’s whispers and now understand how to speak it’s language.

The quiet isn’t weakness — no — it is a strength beyond measure.

A tough armor of leather protecting you from devastation, A single strike to the cheek that will save you from the many scars you might have carried later, A heart that lets the spear cut, knowing that the pain is better than complete collapse.

There is a calm quiet lying deep within the depths of darkness — lingering in your soul, awaiting the moment you realize that true strength comes from how you carry yourself through the storms.

Do you scream in agony when the blade cuts or do you let it pierce your skin because you know the pain is worth the callous?

Is your sanity worth more to you than the need to always say something?

The silence you hold within you is precious — something unlocked only when you tune into peace and turn away from contention.

The quiet lying in the darkness is just waiting for you to come and find it. Waiting for you to recognize the joy it will bring you when you look inside your own soul instead of constantly searching for another.
