I once wrote about my experiences in love. I called myself: ‘Theory Girl of love.’ These lines from my earlier article summed up my experiences, totally.

Call me a theory girl of LOVE… I am a great theory girl — good in theory, zilch, nada, nothing, zero in practicals. I can write stories of intense love, create poems of passionate love, but in practice? My experience is nil… I would never be able to get a certificate for it if it existed!😂 Yep, that’s me. Zero experience with love, passion, lust, the whole works.

Today, I have some questions about love for which I have no answers. I am just sharing these questions with my friends and readers.

When does an infatuation or a crush become love?

Can one-sided, unreciprocated, unrequited love be called love?

Why does such painful one-sided love exist in this world?

There would be so much less pain in this life if we could love only those who loved us back.

Why does the heart care so much for someone who does not feel the same about you?

Why is it that sometimes, your own pain becomes less important than ensuring that the one you care for does not feel the same hurt and pain?

Is this love?

Why does love sometimes not care that you have duties, obligations, and there are things such as morality, fidelity, social norms and conventions to care about?

Is a person ‘immoral’ if he/she unwittingly and against his/her own judgement feels deeply for someone outside the bounds of marriage?

Especially when he/she has no intention of committing adultery or stepping into a sinful relationship, just that the feeling is there?

Is it a sin to love someone you are not supposed to love?

Do age differences matter in love, especially if the woman is much older than the man?

I do not know the answers to all these questions, and am just leaving it to whoever can do so to reply in the comments. I would be extremely grateful for the comments!

Theory girl will keep writing as long as she lives. Maybe, of the great mystical love of her dreams. Or, maybe, many stories of cute, great, passionate, dreamy love!
