Disrespect of our species is disrespect of us as a whole. ​If a human is sleeping with an empty stomach anywhere on Earth, we should be ashamed of ourselves. ​Millions of things are waiting to be explored, yet we feel saturated in our tunnel vision. The brain and the ocean remain unexplored, but we keep digging into the exhausted pit of a celebrity’s wardrobe. Millions are dying young, but we are worshiping the expired gods of ancient times. ​Our own babies are dying for our attention, but we are busy impressing total strangers sitting thousands of miles away from our children's crèches. ​We have swapped human connection for animals, advocating for animal rights while forgetting our own.
