Head of Bengkulu Prison Emphasizes ASN Commitment to Maintaining Security and Order

Bengkulu — After participating in a virtual briefing delivered by the Director General of Corrections, the Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, immediately continued with an internal briefing for all correctional officers and staff at the prison hall on Thursday (21/05).

The briefing was conducted as a follow-up action and reaffirmation of the directives delivered by the Director General of Corrections, Mashudi, regarding the strengthening of security and supervision functions within correctional institutions.

In his remarks, the Head of Bengkulu Prison emphasized the importance of improving discipline, vigilance, and responsibility in carrying out daily duties. He also reminded all staff to uphold integrity and comply with all standard operating procedures in order to create a safe and orderly correctional environment.

Julianto stressed that all ASN personnel must share the same commitment in maintaining the dignity of the institution and avoiding any violations that could damage the reputation of the Correctional Institution.

“We must carry out our duties responsibly and make the directives from leadership our guideline in working. Strengthen supervision, enhance early detection, and build solid teamwork among officers to maintain security and order within the prison,” Julianto stated before all ASN personnel.

In addition, the Head of Prison urged all staff members to use various issues occurring within correctional institutions as evaluation materials so that similar incidents do not happen at Bengkulu Prison.

Through this briefing, all ASN personnel of Class IIA Bengkulu Prison are expected to better understand the importance of professionalism, integrity, and preparedness in supporting the optimal implementation of correctional duties.
