GDPR DPIA: When High-Risk Processing Needs a Data Protection Impact Assessment

A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA, Article 35) is the structured review GDPR requires before processing that is likely to result in a high risk to individuals. It is not optional paperwork; it is a gate that should sit in front of risky launches.
