Even with his friends not allowed to support him from close, Kofi was giving his all, but he was overwhelmed by the two giant behemoths. Even in defeat, that did not even break his spirit slightly.

Mr. McMahon could not believe what he was seeing, despite having Kofi endure all of this pain, the crowd cheered for him with all their might, even when Mr. McMahon thought Kofi didn’t deserve anything. But with the help of his New Day buddies, and with the support of the WWE Universe, he decided to give Kofi an opportunity to prove him wrong.

To test Kofi’s mettle, Mr. McMahon set up a challenge. Kofi had to face not one, not two, but five different opponents! From strong Cesaro and Sheamus to the fierce Samoan Submission machine and The Viper, the battles were tough. But the biggest surprise was saved for last — the champion himself would be Kofi’s final opponent. If Kofi could defeat him, he’d earn a shot at the championship. The battle was intense, my friends, the WWE Universe still believed in Kofi. But it would seem that the dream has died when the running knee hit Kofi in his face.

Kofi failed yet again. He faced failure, as if the world is against him, just like when you can’t win against the house in a casino. There were moments when he thought of quitting, but his friends stood by him. They might not have had another chance, but they had each other, and that was more precious than any championship.

Another chance is given by the big boss, he said that this one will be the last. With how strong the bonds between Kofi and his friends were, he decided to give the challenge not to him, but to his New Day friends. They have to endure the pain just for Kofi to get another opportunity. They had to face multiple tag teams, and it was a hard-fought battle. But when the night was over, they had done it. Xavier Woods and Big E secured Kofi’s spot at WrestleMania to fight for the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan.
