Gaming used to excite me

But don’t excite me anymore

There was a time when gaming used to excite me a lot. I remember when my father bought our first PC in 2010.

That day was very long. The excitement and the waiting certainly stop the timer.

GTA Vice City and EA Cricket 07 were the most popular games of that time. We used to exchange CDs of these games with each other. What a time it was.

I completed the famous helicopter-bomb-dropping mission. It was most difficult. Later, I did it on many of my friends' PCs as an expert.

I played Cricket 07 to the next level. I was the one in the family who used to play on the hardest mode, while others were only comfortable with a difficulty level of 2 stars.

Those were the days when gaming used to excite me.

Those were my teenage years.

But later, I lost interest in gaming. Or I just grew up.

I played Candy Crush Saga for some time, but not with that intensity as with GTA and Cricket 07. I didn’t play PUBG Mobile even though it was miraculous.

Gaming used to excite me in my teenage years. It didn’t excite me at all when I grew up a bit. I don’t know why.

Now games are better in every aspect than the games of that era. Still, I don’t find any interest in them even after trying.

I tried Cricket 24 the previous year on my cousin's PS4 a few times. But it couldn’t spark my interest in it.

There are still some friends of mine who play games even now. They have the same energy for gaming even today. They say gaming lets them forget all the tension in their life. So they play and play and play.
