Lego Build 44 — LRM Carrier
One thing that I have neglected during the run of the second volume of builds (26 –50) is vehicles. In these first few weeks of 2022, I intend to change that a bit. Today, I’ll bring you a basic, yet classic, design.

The LRM Carrier is what one could call a Multiple Launch Rocket System in today’s jargon. It is essentially a simple tracked chassis with a long-range missile launcher on top of it. However, what it lacks in complexity and versatility, it compensates with the ability to simply saturate a target with a massive amount of firepower.
In the Inner Sphere, many forces use these machines to supplement their main BattleMech or tank forces with some long-range fire support. It has a use that meant it would never go out of fashion during the different eras of the setting.
Like the vehicle itself, the model is simple, taking only 27 parts, mostly simple ones one can find in most Lego collections. It is a good supplement to your ‘Mechs should you want to simply have more stuff to showcase them with.
The number of this post also means that Volume II is coming to a close. The idea of dividing these builds into volumes is both for the sake of organization on my side, but also because have been contemplating the idea of making PDF volumes with these builds, so you can find them in a single place.
What do you think of this idea? Do you find it a useful and fun one? Do you think the legal owners would have an issue with it?
Let me know your thoughts.
