Unspoken words
There are things I think about saying all the time… but I don’t.
Like I’ll literally play it out in my head — what I’d say, how it would sound, how the other person would react. And in my head, it always comes out right. But in real life, I just stay quiet.
And then the moment passes.
I think everyone has these unspoken words. The things you feel so strongly, but for some reason, they just stay inside. Like when you’re hurt but you don’t want to seem dramatic. Or when you care about someone, but saying it feels too scary.
Sometimes it’s not even a big reason. It’s just… hesitation.
Like, what if I say the wrong thing? Or what if it changes everything?
So instead, you say nothing.
But the thing is, those unspoken words don’t just disappear. They stay. They turn into overthinking, into late-night thoughts, into feelings you can’t really explain to anyone.
It’s like carrying around conversations that never actually happened.
And honestly, that’s exhausting.
I guess that’s why writing feels different. Because here, I can say things I couldn’t say out loud. I don’t have to stop myself or filter every thought. I can just be real, even if it’s messy.
Maybe this blog is just that.
A place for all the things I didn’t say. The thoughts I kept to myself. The feelings I couldn’t explain.
All the unspoken words… finally being heard, even if it’s just on a page.
