My Favorite Books About The Prequel Trilogy From “Star Wars”

I studied cinema and economics at USC/USF. I also worked in several jobs and internships in entertainment. I am a big Star Wars fan, my favorite books about the prequel trilogy are “Kenobi”, “Master and Apprentice”, and “Shatterpoint”.

“Kenobi”

I enjoyed this book because it was an inspiration for the TV Show “Obi-Wan Kenobi”. It also had a lot to do with Tusken Raiders, similar to “The Book of Boba Fett” TV Series.

“Master and Apprentice”

“An unexpected offer threatens the bond between Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi as the two Jedi navigate a dangerous new planet and an uncertain future.” (Goodreads)

I enjoyed this book because it had to do with Obi Wan and Qui Gon Jinn, similar to “The Phantom Menace”.

“Shatterpoint”

“In this essential Star Wars Legends novel, Mace Windu must journey to his long-forgotten homeworld to confront a terrifying mystery with dire personal consequences.” (Goodreads)

I liked this novel because it had to do with Mace Windu, who had a key role in the Prequel Trilogy. Also his purple lightsaber was neat. It also took place during The Clone Wars.

A lot of Star Wars books are considered as “Legends” now and are not canon to the story. Another one I would recommend is “Dart Plagueis”, which takes place before the Prequel Trilogy, but has to do with the Sith Lord who trained Darth Sidious.
