The Psychoblob

Maybe this world needs the “Psychoblob” as a leader. But not “psycho” in the usual sense. More like psycho in the way that he understands all my lower impulses. The Psychoblob. He understands the little “psycho” inside me.

At the same time, the Psychoblob is compassionate. He takes care of my fears. He shows me the “hard Psychoblob paths.” The Psychoblob leader. Like a multicolored bubble.

The Psychoblob knows all truths. The divine light of the universe. He knows every path, every answer. He is the holy light and the sacred terror in one. His wisdom is infinite. His knowledge reaches back to the beginnings of the universe.

A cruel leader and a holy hand. And far less like the “real psychos” of the world — because they are only psycho.

The idea came from that old movie — I think it was called The Blob. Of course, the Blob wasn’t kind; it absorbed and devoured everyone. But my projection of the “ideal leader” is different. People can think of it what they want.

Maybe one day the Psychoblob will absorb me too, and I’ll rest inside him, calm and safe, like in a womb. Psychoblob care. A place where I’m allowed to be as “psycho” as I am.

But in the real world, I still respect the people around me. That’s just how it is. It’s only the other psychos who usually make me psycho.
