Noise!! Fire in the sky!!! What are we going to do? I was rushing with my mother.

But you know what, she was calm. “Mom, they are bursting something in the sky! Aren’t you afraid?”

“No, dearest. I am not — we are giraffes; we should not get afraid of something like that.” Mom told me that, but it was like a scary dream.

“But what if something happened?” I asked, my head upward. “As long as I live with you, nothing will ever happen to you, my dearest!” She kissed me.

I snuggled!
