Step 1: Dial *321# Step 2: Enter 2 (Gift Data) Step 3: Enter 1 (Transfer From Data Balance) Step 4: Select the Balance you’re transferring from. Enter 1 (From Access Data Balance) if you’re transferring from a general data plan balance or Enter 2 (From XtraValue Bundle) if you’re transferring from a XtraValue data bundle. Step 5: Enter recipient number. Step 6: Select the amount of data you wish to transfer. Step 7: Enter 1 to proceed with the transfer.

Once you complete the steps above, the data will be transferred to your beneficiary and you’ll receive a pop-up and message informing that you’ve successfully transferred your data to the number.

Gifting Data Directly With Airtime Balance on MTN

Gifting data also known as direct data gifting involves buying data for a number with your airtime balance. Unlike transferring data directly from your data balance, there’s no limit on how many times you can gift data on MTN through direct gifting method.

To gift data on MTN with your airtime balance follow these steps:

Step 1: Dial *321# Step 2: Enter 2 (Gift Data) Step 3: Enter 2 (Buy for a Friend) Step 4: Select the data plan you want to gift by following the on-screen prompts. Step 5: Enter recipient number.

Once you complete the steps above you’ll receive a pop-up and notification message confirming your data gift is successful.

How to Gift Data on Airtel With Your Airtime Balance

Follow the instructions below to gift data with your airtime balance on Airtel:

Step 1: Dial *312# Step 2: Enter 2 (Data Plans). Step 3: Select the data plan you wish to gift with your airtime balance. Step 4: Enter 4 (Buy for Others). Step 5: Enter recipient number. Step 6: Enter PIN.

Once you’ve completed the steps above, you’ll be greeted with a success screen and your airtime will be deducted for the transaction.

How to Gift Data on Glo With Your Airtime Balance

To gift data with your airtime balance on Glo, follow these instructions:

1. Dial *312#.
2. Select the data option, then select option for gift data.
3. Follow the on-screen prompt to select the data plan you want to gift.
4. Enter your customer’s number. That’s all you don’t need to enter any PIN.

How to Gift Data on T2mobile With Your Airtime Balance
