Tim Allen plays Eliot Arnold in this Barry Sonnenfeld-directed film . Based on Dave Barry’s book, the movie chronicles the tumultuous events surrounding a suitcase bomb in Miami.

The plot is of how a mysterious suitcase unites and transforms the lives of a divorced father, an unhappy housewife, two hitmen, a pair of street thugs, two teenage lovers, two FBI men, and a psychedelic toad , It is a comedy based on Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist Dave Barry’s best-selling first novel.

The scenes with the lovers and the frog and the hitmen are really hilarious.

The two odd cops played by Patrick Warburton and Janeane Garofalo are very comical. This was the debut movie of Sofia Vergara by the way. She is the young attractive house maid who plays the love interest of Jason Lee whom she mistakes for Jesus! Jason Lee plays a drifter who looks like Jesus but is not obviously. He manages to live in the trees around Tim Allen’s house:)

The movie was notable for having its release delayed due to the September 11 attacks, as the plot involves a nuclear device being smuggled onto an airplane

I do not know why its rated below a 8 , it is full of really cool one liners and slapstick comedy. The subplots are nicely intertwined and quite comical.

I rated it as an 8 and its a good movie to watch with friends and popcorn:)
