WEGE Triumphs with Gold in Economic Pillar at TJSL & CSR Award 2023

(WEGE) clinched the esteemed Top 4 Star (Gold) accolade in the Economic pillar category for BUMNs and Subsidiaries at the TJSL & CSR Award 2023, themed “Accelerating BUMN Efforts for Economic Recovery Through TJSL & CSR.” The award ceremony, held on Thursday night, unfolded in the opulent confines of the Ballroom Flores Hotel Borobudur.

The journey began with meticulously composed questionnaire responses, followed by a meticulous assessment phase involving virtual presentations before a panel of reputable experts and practitioners in economics, social welfare, Law & Governance. Thendri Supriatno, Founder & Chairman of the Indonesia Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD), presided over this esteemed panel.

The evaluation criteria for this event encapsulate the acceleration of BUMN’s role in driving national economic recovery through TJSL & CSR, encompassing four key dimensions: social, economic, environmental, and legal aspects in tandem with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda. All corporate initiatives are rooted in the guidelines of Permen PER-1/MBU/01/2023, and harmonized with the SDGs’ four pillars of social, economic, environmental, and legal & governance responsibilities.

Six core facets are assessed within this framework: policy, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, and supplementary documentation (including testimonials and visual documentation).

The TJSL & CSR Awards 2023, now in its third year, stands as an annual flagship event by BUMN Track, fortified by support from the Indonesia Shared Value Institute (ISVI). A total of 88 BUMNs and Subsidiaries participated in this noteworthy endeavor. This event serves as the apex recognition for BUMNs and their subsidiaries, saluting their exemplary execution of TJSL and CSR practices.
