The normalized parent aggression towards their children

I feel like nowadays child abuse is so normalized everywhere i go i see parents beating their kids just because they “misbehaved” there was one of my close friends who had suffered from that he would get abused for simply not reaching their expectations whether it came to academics or sports , he was put under a lot of stress due to that and he struggled for a long time with depression and the problem is that people treat it like it is normal ,neither religion nor psychology encourage beating your kids when they do something wrong , this is a well known problem that is usually ignored and it causes many kids to commit suicide or at least become suicidal , awareness has to be raised about such thing it is unacceptable and disgusting and instead of beating your kids you can teach them calmly whats wrong and whats right and if that doesn’t work you ground and punish ,you don’t yell at them like a maniac saying things as “i wish i never had you” that will only give the kids psychological trauma and if neither grounding nor calm teaching work that’s when faith should come in make them respect the religion not fear it , make them love god not fear him , make engaging with religion fun so that they actually listen and give it a chance , and that’s all just thought this had to be spoken upon so i decided to take it upon myself to raise awareness about similar stuff.
