BACKGROUND

Few days back I got to know from a friend who had seen a post on Instagram about a Spanish photographer, Everyday, while on the way to work he was observing a garbage collector guy continuously for 5–6 days in a row, After Collecting the garbage, at the end he used to keep a rose over the pile of garbage, The photographer got curious and asked the man the reason behind doing so, Upon listening to the question, the man replied, that people just look at the garbage as waste but I want the dirt to feel good to, So I keep a rose over it everyday.

OBJECTIVE

So, the thought stuck my mind and gave a whole new way of thinking, Why not make people aware of the fact that a lot can happen if we make use of the Garbage. There are many such foundations which are responsible to take care of the waste and are managing the waste on whole new different level, but cannot reach out to common man easily. so, Why not create a site which gives information, educates user about the waste management process, it Should be a simple but educational ride so People of all age group can use it easily.

But how this can be achieved?

I am Planning on designing a site which shows user the best practices to manage the waste, they can scroll through the videos put up by various NGO’s, Users are usually triggered by Success stories and making this as the USP,

we can reach out to lot of people in the surrounding, encouraging them to manage the waste which later can be used as compost and also used by them for various important processes. People can also upload videos if they find any such Vicinity, following waste management processes which can be uploaded in the success stories section.

My Second goal will be educating more and more secondary users who would want to participate but cannot do it, due to lack of knowledge. The Stories , Advertisements, Campaigns will be added on Frequent basis which will keep the users engaged. It will be like a buddygram for my secondary users. where they will be able to post various stories posts videos that might help each other to grow.

Primary and Secondary Users

Keeping environment free of polluted stuff is responsibility of everyone, but considering the enthusiasm of the Kids in the age group of 6 years to 18 years and Adults will be my primary set of user, Who might actively participate in such campaigns and make a lead to the start of the of the Great initiative. And people with the age group above 40 will be considered a my secondary users.
