Bagels & Co. Now Open in Davie and Pompano Beach

First 100 guests to arrive during grand opening celebrations will receive a “Schmears On Us” promotional giveaway

Known for fresh-out-of-the-oven delicious Brooklyn-style bagels and eclectic cream cheese flavors, Bagels & Co.’s two newest locations in the Town of Davie and Pompano Beach are now open.

The Davie shop will host a grand opening celebration on Tuesday, March 17 from 8 to 10 a.m. As a community welcome, the first 100 guests will enjoy “Schmears On Us,” which includes a free bagel and a side of plain cream cheese, as well as a free can of flavored La Colombe coffee. Located in the Modera Academical Village at 3440 SW 76th Terrace, adjacent to the Nova Southeastern University campus and across from HCA Florida University Hospital, the 1,498-square-foot shop has seating indoors and outdoors.

The following Tuesday on March 24, the Pompano Beach shop will celebrate its grand opening from 8 to 10 a.m. with a “Schmears On Us” giveaway with a twist. The first 100 guests will receive a free can of flavored La Colombe coffee, as well as a coupon to redeem a free bagel and schmear on their next visit. Located in the Park Plaza Shopping Center at 1162 N Federal Hwy., the 1,200-square-foot café offers seating inside and outside.

Open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bagels & Co. bakes more than a dozen varieties of Brooklyn-style bagels including French toast, cheddar habanero, everything, blueberry, cinnamon raisin and whole wheat. The quick-serve, family-friendly bagel shop showcases a large variety of eclectic schmears such as bacon cheddar, birthday cake, black truffle, cookie monster, honey nut, sriracha scallion and vegan tofu. Special limited-edition bagel and cream cheese flavors are added throughout the year to commemorate seasons, holidays, sports teams and more.

Bagels & Co. brews La Colombe coffee, tea and other coffee-based beverages. The affordable menu also offers a variety of made-to-order sandwiches, grab and go items, Gluten-free options, parfaits and pastries.

Since opening earlier this month, Bagels & Co. guests are already gravitating towards menu favorites such as the everything bagel, Breakfast Sammy (eggs and American cheese with option to add choice of meat, fried chicken or lox), side of hashbrowns and vanilla iced latte with a choice of milk.

Davie and Pompano Beach are the third and fourth Bagels & Co. locations to open in Broward County, joining Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors. There are also locations in Gainesville, Tallahassee and Philadelphia with additional shops set to open in Florida in Hollywood, the Cypress Creek area in Fort Lauderdale and North Tampa near the University of South Florida campus, as well as Columbus, Ohio near The Ohio State University.
