17LIVE SGX listing: Start to Our Next Phase of Growth

This afternoon, a few hours after the ceremony, I took the rare opportunity to sit down physically with Alex (our CEO) and JS (my Co-Founder and our CTO) to discuss key execution steps of the next few months. We haven’t been physically in the same place at the same time for some time now. We ran through our plans, and went through details of various initiatives we have lined up. Excited to be given the opportunity by stakeholders to drive this next phase of growth with the A team that Alex and JS lead.

Well capitalised, we are now more than ever, able to actively capture development opportunities, strengthen the Group’s competitiveness and work to create greater value for our shareholders and investors. The listing of 17LIVE not only builds a solid foundation for long-term development of the Group, but also marks the beginning of a new phase of accelerated global expansion of the Group.

We have reached a critical milestone in our corporate journey with the Listing of 17LIVE Group Limited on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange. As the first completed de-spac transaction in Singapore, our Listing journey has been a culmination of hard work from all involved, who have expended many long and late hours to collectively bring us here today. My sincere and deepest appreciation to all.

We welcome new stakeholders such as the SGX as well as institutional and retail shareholders who share our common vision to further expand our Group as we seize growth opportunities amid the rising global phenomena towards live-streaming.

We will continue to invest in our core capabilities to deepen our presence across key markets including Southeast Asia, leveraging Singapore as our international gateway and springboard.

Listing in Singapore allows us to be close to our immediate growth markets in Southeast Asia, whilst allowing investors based in and from Singapore the opportunity to participate in our exciting growth journey in the thriving digital entertainment sector.
