I Thought I Had Time Until My Computer Said Otherwise

Today wasn’t about editing videos.

It wasn’t about learning a new tool either.

Most of my time went into writing an email copy for our internship.

I thought it would be a simple task.

But things didn’t go as planned.

My computer started having technical problems while I was working.

At first, I ignored it because I wanted to finish before the deadline.

I kept telling myself, “Konti na lang.”

Then the problems got worse.

Instead of making progress, I spent more time trying to fix my computer than actually doing the task.

Before I knew it, most of my time was already gone.

Honestly, today felt like a loss.

I didn’t have that feeling of accomplishing something.

I wasn’t proud of my output because I couldn’t even work the way I wanted to.

It was frustrating.

Sometimes it’s not the task that’s difficult.

Sometimes it’s the things you can’t control.

Looking back, I realized I should always have a backup.

Not just a backup of my files, but a backup plan as well.

Whether it’s saving my work more often, using cloud storage, or having another device available, those small preparations can save hours of stress.

I learned that the hard way today.

I’m still disappointed because I know I could’ve done better if my computer had cooperated.

But I also know days like this are part of the journey.

Not every day will feel productive.

Not every day ends with a win.

Sometimes the lesson comes from the days that don’t go your way.

Tomorrow is another chance to do better.

Hopefully with fewer technical problems… and definitely with better backups.
