My husband and I debate frequently about humanity’s future.

Not gonna lie, he frustrates me sometimes. He sees our future in space. I see it here on Earth.

We agree on one thing. Our future is being born now. A new destiny is upon us.

It’s time for us to choose.

What on Earth is happening here?

For those of you who haven’t read my work before, hi! I’m Aventurine.

Yes, that’s a pen name. I chose it for a reason.

Aventurine is best known as a translucent quartz with a shimmering effect, aventurescence, caused by mineral inclusions. MyCrystals.com says, “Aventurine fosters your emotional needs with its soothing vibration and healing powers. The scintillating shimmers of this stone will light up your dark world and introduce you to the beautiful world anew.”

That’s what I’m all about.

I see a beautiful new world for humanity. Some call it the New Earth.

That’s an airy-fairy concept for me; I’m a practical, down-to-earth kind of girl.

I call my vision Alternativism. Humans living together in communities, intentionally formed as healthy, regenerative villages that coexist with the Earth.

Places where we grow together in love and collective intelligence. Where we return to family and stewardship. We use technology for its highest possibilities, but we rely on the innate intelligence of Earth’s systems and cycles to sustain life.

Life flourishes around us. And we flourish because we give back as much nourishment as we receive. We enable the cycle of life to continue and thrive.

How I see it

That’s a bold vision, for sure. It’s counter to what most of humanity does today. But more and more of us are rediscovering this truth. The truth our ancient ancestors knew and lived.

As a girl who grew up in elite circles, surrounded by wealth and privilege, this is a big change for me. More than you’ll ever know or I could ever explain.

But I know it’s the truth. I have no choice. I must follow the Alternativist vision wherever it leads.

The climate change nonsense that started this journey for me feels like a distant memory now. The lie has been exposed, and that’s a good thing.

What’s happening now, however, is not a good thing.

Our world today looks obsessed with AI and space. The path we’re on is unsustainable. I know this from the inside out.

I studied it for years as an ESG analyst for global mining and materials interests, multi-billion dollar operations. The math doesn’t work. There’s not enough energy or materials on Earth to realize this bold future everyone’s investing in. We don’t have the traditional energy resources it will take to mine and transport the materials from space to the Earth, and alternative energy sources require traditional energy to be made.

Most people don’t want to hear that. They want the fantasy to keep going. New opportunities. More extraction. More money. They don’t care about the unintended consequences.

They will.

But I’m not writing to them. I’m writing to you.

If you’re still reading, that means you care. You see what’s happening. And you don’t want to be a part of it.

You’re looking for a new life. A new destiny you can call your own, outside their system of control.

My Alternativist vision

Let me tell you more about my vision. Let’s find out if you see what I see.

We’re building a global network of communities. We come from all walks of life. Our philosophies and motivations differ. Our reasons for joining community vary. What we share is a knowing. Society is headed down the wrong path. That path will destroy us. It will destroy the planet.

Our biggest challenge will be to unite. To find common ground within our vast differences. To stand in faith together. To recognize that, even though it looks like we’re all doing something different in the physical world, we’re working together as spiritual beings to bring forth humanity’s new destiny.

My marriage

Don’t get me wrong, my husband agrees with what we’re doing. He knows how important our work is. He supports us wholeheartedly. But he fears there are not enough of us to turn the tide.

My husband talks a lot about the long wait. A window of time, decades-long, where the Alternativists will fulfill the sacred task of anchoring our new destiny on Earth. The way he sees it, we’ll hold the line while insurmountable forces consume the planet’s remaining resources to build a system of control they believe we cannot escape. He’s convinced that we’ll find the answer to our spiritual liberation in deep space, on the planet where this madness began.

I don’t want to believe that. I can’t.

I believe in the Alternativist vision. I believe in us. I believe we can turn the tide.

Ask the hard questions

Look, I get your skepticism. Just another rich girl projecting her idealistic fantasies onto the world.

I admit it. It’s easy for me, on a practical level, because I have money.

Emotionally, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. So I hope that gives me some empathy for what you’re going through.

I’ve seen your testimonials on social media. I know many of you feel trapped. Finding your way out of your current reality, whatever that is, is hard. The only thing I would say is, don’t let your financial situation fool you. The journey starts from within. If you can’t find the path to freedom within your own soul, in your own body, it doesn’t matter how much money you have.

I’ve also seen the testimonials from those of you who are living the life. You’ve shown us that money can help, but isn’t always necessary. Skills are important. Intent. Commitment. Desire. That’s where the soul work comes in. See yourself living your new destiny. Patiently and persistently go about whatever your day-to-day life is now. Wait for the door to your new life to open. When it comes, take a deep breath and walk through to that new life. For those of you already holding the vision, prepare to open your doors to the new community members being called to join you.

Tell the truth

To break out of a life that no longer serves us, we must tell the truth. First to ourselves. Then to others. Being honest with myself was the hardest part.

Here’s my truth.

I feel called to build this vision of a global network. Alternativists unite! I see the evidence all over social media now. We’re finding our people. Inventors and entrepreneurs roll out technology to clean up the planet. Pioneers share the ways they’ve discovered to get land and to organize alternative lifestyles that set the course to our new destiny. New business models make it possible for more of us to establish communities. And healers help us move through the personal and ancestral trauma that holds us back from living our new destiny.

My job: to provide resources, support, and connections for all who feel called to be a part of the Alternativist vision.

Our time is now. We’re meant to do this together, not alone.

Yes, I see that some of you have embraced a solo journey through van life or an off-grid dwelling. You know if that’s your journey. You’re a sovereign. Live your truth.

For me, we find the essence of Alterativism in community and connection. That means we have to deal with each other. Together, we can transcend the ancestral and societal bullshit that keeps us trapped in polarized debates and petty conflicts. We can learn how to cooperate and reconcile our differences. We can build a life worth living together.

Face the consequences

There were consequences when I started telling myself the truth. Because I’m not one to keep my mouth shut. When I see the truth, I have to speak it. God made me that way.

Speaking the truth got me cancelled from my family. That was hard. It was the best thing for me, but I did not enjoy going through that. As my husband said, it was necessary. I never could have become who I’m destined to be if I stayed with them.

I’ve seen this pretty consistently in the Alternativists I’ve talked with. The journey starts with the recognition that the life we’re living isn’t working. We feel a calling deep inside. From that calling, a vision is born. We speak our truth. What isn’t working falls away. Sometimes, that process can be ugly. But it leads us to where we’re supposed to be.
