July Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Cute Creatures”

C’mon everybody, follow me, onwards MARCH!

Every time I drove past this little dude on the way to the dog park, I’d think, “I am Groot!”

After a few weeks, I decided to pull over and take a happy snap. (Post-park visit because the excitement on the way to the dog park is too overwhelming for detours!) Seeing the little guy up close, it was obvious he didn’t really resemble Groot. Instead, I saw a soldier at arms.

In case you’re wondering, pareidolia is the word for the phenomenon where people see faces or other patterns in ambiguous images.
