My Evedex AI Bot Journal: Why I Only Share Closed Results

I recently started testing an AI trading bot on Evedex with $30, and I decided to document the experience as a simple public journal.

Not as financial advice.

Not as trading signals.

Not as a promise of profit.

Just a personal journal showing what happens when I let the bot trade and then share the results after trades are closed.

Why I started this journal

There is a lot of content online about crypto trading bots, AI trading, passive income, and automated strategies. Some of it looks exciting, but a lot of it also feels too perfect.

You often see screenshots of big profits, but you do not always see the waiting periods, the losing trades, the quiet days, or the times when the bot does nothing.

That is why I wanted to make this journal a little different.

My goal is not to make trading look easy. My goal is to show the process more honestly:

  • when the bot opens a trade
    • when the bot closes a trade
    • when the bot waits
    • when the market looks unclear
    • when there is a win
    • when there is a loss
    • what I learn along the way

I think the waiting part is especially important. A lot of beginners think a trading bot should trade all the time, but sometimes no trade is also part of the strategy.

What I am using

For this journal, I am using Evedex and its AI trading bot feature.

I am still learning, so I am treating this as a high-risk experiment, not as a guaranteed income source. Crypto trading can move very fast, and automated trading does not remove risk. A bot can still lose money. Market conditions can change. Technical issues can happen. No strategy works perfectly all the time.

That is why I want to be careful with how I share this journey.

Why I only post closed results

One rule I made for myself is that I will only share closed results.

That means I do not want to post active trades in a way that could make someone copy them. I do not want people to look at my post and think, “I should open the same trade now.”

That would not be responsible.

A trade can look good while it is open and still close in a loss. A chart can change quickly. A bot’s entry may not make sense for someone else’s account size, risk level, or timing.

So instead of posting live trade signals, I want to share updates like:

“Bot opened a trade.”

“Bot is waiting.”

“No new closed trade yet.”

“Market looks sideways on my chart.”

“Closed result: win.”

“Closed result: loss.”

“One thing I learned this week.”

This way, the journal is more about the experience and learning process, not about telling anyone what to trade.

What I will not promise

I will not promise that this bot will make money.

I will not say that anyone can earn a certain amount.

I will not say this is safe.

I will not tell people to deposit money they cannot afford to lose.

And I will not present this as financial advice.

Crypto trading is high risk, especially with leverage, bots, and fast-moving markets. Even if a bot has good results for a period of time, that does not mean future results will be the same.

This journal is only my personal experience.

What I hope people can learn from this

I hope this journal can be useful for beginners who are curious about AI trading bots but want a more realistic view.

I want to show that bot trading is not always exciting. Sometimes it is boring. Sometimes the bot waits. Sometimes the market does not give a clear signal. Sometimes there are no new closed trades to post.

And that is okay.

For me, the interesting part is not only the result. It is also the discipline of waiting, tracking, learning, and not forcing trades.

Referral disclosure

I do have an Evedex referral link.

If you decide to sign up through my link, I may receive a referral reward. You do not have to use my link, and you should always do your own research before using any trading platform or bot.

Again, this is not financial advice. Crypto trading is risky, and you can lose money.

Final thoughts

I am starting this journal because I want to track the real experience of using an AI trading bot – not just the exciting parts.

I will share closed results, waiting periods, lessons, and updates as honestly as I can.

If you are also interested in AI trading bots, crypto automation, or beginner-friendly trading journals, you can follow along.

Just remember: this is a high-risk experiment, not a guaranteed income method.
