I am poor, broke. And I go to the food pantry for free food. I filed for bankruptcy because my cancer hospital bills were over $4,000,000.00 millions dollars.

Heartless Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt

We have the worst governor in the United States, for he is so compassionate. He is part Indian, but none of the Five Civilized Tribes supported him when he ran for office.

Homelessness is growing here, so what does he do?

He sends police to clear out encampments, take their belonging, including IDs, and throws them away, while there is no effort to find them a safe place to stay.

Therefore, I am embarrassed that he is our governor.

Sheila, the Homeless woman, at Sprouts

I love to shop at Sprouts, for I can find 99-cent specials on organic vegetables, which I need because of my cancer treatments, as I was told to eat only organic.

I only spend about 5 dollars maximum. In some stores, two organic bell peppers, bundled together, cost $10.00, or 5 dollars each. Are they crazy?

One time, a woman ran up to me and told me in Spanish that she was broke and was desperate to feed her kids.

She said any amount would help. I looked into my wallet and gave her all I had, 100.00 dollars, but that prevented me from eating for a while.

Smiling Sheila is different, for she sits in the shade in the building close to Sprouts. Indeed, I have talked to her, but I can see her teeth are not good.

She smiles when she sees me because I always give her 20.00 dollars. Sadly, she looks depressed when I walk up to her.

She is smart. However, she is very hungry, so I always give her 20.00 dollars. I am sad that there are so many homeless people in Oklahoma
