Call it Outside-In or call it visionary. Feel like I am being binge watched, tagged and relegated to the lowest quartile of those Rotten Tomato ratings. Having always cheered for the underdogs in this world, I think it’s about time this dawg had his day.
Not talking ‘bout walks in the park or some kind of fire hydrant golden shower, though this dawg is game for just about anything right now. Go ahead, push me to the edge. Most of my dearest friends got their union cards punched in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Lunatic Fringe, Local 39.
All I’m hearing right now is LL Cool J rapping, “Mama Said Knock You Out!” And yes good citizens of Lower Nomophobia, that’s precisely what I intend to throw down here. Goes a little something like this:
Feel it in my jewels, all needles and pins, Ring that bell there, let this fight begin, Tired of breathing scorn, coughing up chagrin, Mixing jabs and hooks like tonic water and gin, Be pounding epidermis, pounding on some skin, Case of lose or tie, case of win-win, Silent film assassin like my dawg Rin Tin-Tin, Better call a doctor, inform next of kin, Headed for the mat, grab that rusted dust-bin, Unoriginal actions, born of original sin, Fiddle tune plays on the world’s tiniest violin, Not building walls here, no East and West Berlin, My wherewithal’s making out with all my where within, Spending the night at the Lake, down by that beautiful Inn, Taking it on the knees, taking it on the shins, Don’t tell my fare hearted sisters, or my evil twin, Paying all my debts to Bringdown town’s kingpin, Talking over 176 heads of genuinely phony media machine spin, Clipping tail feathers, trimming tail fins, Moving through the night, like a stealthy gypsy Bedouin, Believe me, I ain’t phubbing, I’m coming Outside-In.
