How much time in life can really be used to do the things we truly want to do? We’re all bound by responsibilities and obligations — work, studying, family. Sometimes we don’t even have enough time to rest, let alone to spend with our families, and meeting up with friends becomes even harder. Yet, because I want to play my roles well — doing my job with excellence, studying, constantly challenging and surpassing myself — I end up spending even more time focused on self-discipline and personal growth.

Recently, I’ve picked up a new interest: drawing eyebrows. Every day I practice shaping them, trying different styles, hoping to find the one that best suits me. I feel like I’m getting closer and closer to the look I’ve always imagined. Lately, I’ve also started going for night runs before bed. It helps with blood circulation, relieves stress, and gives me more strength.

I’ve been wondering if I’m too fixated on what I can see with my eyes — using external things to confirm certain feelings. But some things can’t be validated that way. Love, for example, should be felt with the heart, not measured by worldly standards, right? There are people I see every day who don’t feel close at all. And there are others, far away, yet the moment I close my eyes, I can see them clearly.

I want to practice trusting myself, and also trusting others, so that my heart can become more peaceful and steady. I want to focus well on what needs to be done. Because I must keep working hard to become a better version of myself!
