TANGERANG, January 23, 2026 – Rising young talent Fatan Alfa Raid is preparing to return to the grid for Round 2 of the Kart.inc Pro League (KPL). The highly anticipated race is scheduled for February 7, 2026, at Kart.inc, PIK 2—Indonesia’s premier international-standard indoor electric go-kart circuit. While Fatan brings a year of competitive experience from gasoline-powered karting at the Gokart Avenue circuit, the shift to electric propulsion represents a significant new chapter in his budding career. Fatan’s journey into electric racing began recently on December 25, 2025. Within just 48 hours of his first session, his raw pace caught the attention of the Formula 4 Indonesia Academy team, who immediately recruited him to compete in the Junior Class. Adapting to a New Era of Racing The 2026 KPL season features a highly competitive field, with seven major teams vying for the championship: Formula 4 Indonesia Academy (Fatan’s Team) Dewa United Motorsport Wish Motorsport Speed & Adrenaline AOG Momentum Experience RDC Gajahlume Pro Niti Racing In Round 1, held on January 10, Fatan defied expectations by securing a third-place podium finish. This achievement is particularly notable as he continues to recalibrate his driving style to suit the instantaneous torque and unique handling characteristics of electric karts compared to traditional internal combustion engines. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity and the mentorship provided by the Formula 4 Indonesia Academy team," said Fatan Alfa Raid. "Despite my year in gasoline karts, the KPL electric karts present a completely different challenge. Securing a podium in Round 1 was an incredible bonus. My focus now is to keep learning from my peers so I can deliver an even stronger performance in Round 2."
