Shared interests are easy. shared instincts are the whole thing.

forget the fairy tale.

I want the person who just says “yeah let’s do it”

doesn’t even ask why first.

a proposal on a mountain, sure, cool,

but that’s not the part that gets me.

the part that gets me is,

out of everyone in the world,

somehow they found the one person

who heard that stupid idea

and just went

“honestly? that sounds fun.”

everyone says they want kind. funny. driven.

yeah okay, same, but also

I want a brain that feels familiar.

that’s the actual hard part.

someone who hears “let’s drive an hour for that diner”

and is already grabbing their keys

before they even know where it is.

shared interests, easy.

shared instincts..

that’s the rare one.

it’s laughing at the same dumb part

nobody else even clocked.

it’s both of you stopping at the same weird bookstore

on the same random street

like of course.

I don’t want to be translated.

I want to be recognized. that’s it. that’s the whole thing.

not someone exactly like me

someone who just makes the weird

feel normal.

maybe that’s the whole rarest-love thing

not someone who changes your life,

just someone who hears your dumbest idea,

smiles,

and goes

“okay. but are we getting snacks on the way.”
