AvaDesk — AstraFlow (Personal Finance & Productivity Dashboard Concept in Figma)

Intro

AstraFlow is a soft, modern personal finance dashboard that helps users track expenses, set savings goals, manage tasks, and monitor spending habits — all in one serene workspace. The goal was to create a calming and motivating financial experience for users who want clarity without feeling overwhelmed by numbers.

Problem

Most financial dashboards lean heavily on dark colors, aggressive fonts, and dense data, which can feel intimidating or stressful for everyday users. AstraFlow solves this by focusing on:

• A soft color palette
• Simplified visuals
• Quick-glance metrics
• Human-centered, non-intimidating interactions

The goal is to make money management feel natural, friendly, and approachable.

Inspiration

The visual tone was inspired by:

• Soft UI and pastel color gradients
• Simple, card-based layouts found in modern wellness apps
• Calm financial tools like Mint and Monzo
• The idea of “financial clarity through softness”

Visually, AstraFlow sits between a finance app and a mindfulness tool.

Process

1. Wireframes & Structure

I mapped out key modules:

• Account balance
• Monthly insights
• Weekly expenses
• Focus score
• Goals
• Tasks

2. Color Palette

Warm peach, cream, and subtle coral accents were chosen to create a welcoming and stress-free environment.

3. Typography

Rounded, modern sans-serif typography helps maintain a friendly tone while keeping information clean and legible.

4. Components & Interactions

Designed smooth cards with gentle shadows, circular analytics, progress rings, bar charts, and a conversational financial assistant module.

5. Iterations

Tested alternative color intensities, spacing, and card radius values to balance warmth and clarity.

Final Design

Calm, peach-toned personal finance dashboard featuring balance tracking, spending insights, goals, and quick tasks.

The final AstraFlow dashboard blends personal finance, wellness, and light productivity tools into a soft, intuitive layout. Each element is designed to lower mental load while guiding users toward meaningful financial habits.

Reflection
