🇺🇦 Sustain and Strengthen U.S. Support for Ukraine — July 8 2026

Dear [Elected Representative],

I am writing as your constituent to urge you to act on the commitments made earlier this year regarding continued U.S. support for Ukraine, and to raise serious concerns about the administration’s recent posture toward our European allies.

First, I ask that you press for the delivery of Patriot batteries and other air defense systems that Ukraine and our allies have already purchased and paid for or which have been promised and then delayed. Withholding equipment that has been funded and/or was expected to be made available only prolongs the war and costs Ukrainian civilian lives, while undermining U.S. credibility as a reliable partner and arms supplier.

Second, I urge you to support providing Ukraine with GMLRS rockets and to authorize the use of ATACMS for deep strikes against legitimate military targets inside Russian territory. Ukraine cannot effectively defend its cities and infrastructure while its adversary operates missile and drone launch sites, logistics hubs, and airfields with relative impunity just across the border. Removing these restrictions is a matter of allowing Ukraine to fight the war it is actually in.

Third, I ask that you support continued and increased funding for Ukraine’s defense. Ukraine is currently absorbing the cost of degrading Russian military capability that would otherwise threaten NATO’s eastern flank and, longer term, could pose a far more expensive and dangerous challenge to U.S. and allied security. Re-investing now, while Ukraine is doing the fighting, is dramatically cheaper than confronting a resurgent, embolded Russian military in a wider European or transatlantic conflict later.

Finally, I have grave concerns about reports and statements suggesting the administration intends to withdraw U.S. troops from Europe, weaken or abandon our NATO commitments, and rhetoric threatening the sovereignty of Greenland and Canada. These actions would represent a historic and self-inflicted collapse of the alliance system that has underpinned U.S. and European security for nearly eighty years. I believe this conduct warrants the strongest possible congressional response, up to and including impeachment proceedings, and I ask that you state your position on this clearly and publicly.

I am closely following how you and your colleagues act on these issues, and I will be considering this record when I vote. Thank you for your attention to these urgent matters.

As your constituent, I urge action on four fronts regarding Ukraine and NATO:

1. Deliver Patriot batteries and other air defense systems Ukraine and allies are already expecting. Withholding funded equipment only costs lives and damages U.S. credibility.

2. Support providing GMLRS rockets and authorize ATACMS for deep strikes on legitimate military targets. Ukraine can’t defend itself while launch sites and logistics hubs across the border operate freely.

3. Back continued, increased funding for Ukraine’s defense. Ukraine is degrading a military threat to NATO’s eastern flank now, cheaply, versus facing a resurgent Russia later at far greater cost.

4. Oppose withdrawing U.S. troops from Europe, weakening NATO, or threats against Greenland/Canada’s sovereignty. This would collapse alliances built over 80 years. I believe this warrants impeachment proceedings, and I want your public position on record.
