On the hunt for my missing pillow
Can you see the pillow on the right? It’s made of goose feathers. Some people don’t like feather pillows but I love them. I prefer a pillow with a large percentage of down but who can afford that?
I once had a down pillow in a upmarket Melbourne hotel and was tempted to pack it in my suitcase and give it a new home. It was the most comfortable pillow I’d ever slept on.
I resisted. I’m sorry I did. “I’d sell my soul to the devil for that pillow.”
The next best thing is a feather pillow. I bought two. Now I have one! The search is on. Possible places for hiding in order of probability. Keeley’s, Stacey’s, one of my three other bedrooms, or possibly my garage. Or has my pillow been purloined never to be seen again?
I’m pedantic about pillows.
