The 2022 practice matches are underway

Essendon and the Western Bulldogs kicked off the men's season with the Bombers sneaking home by 6 points at the Hangar this afternoon.

I personally watched the game live on Kayo as it was the first year they streamed it and I was very excited to see my team play for the first time this year and the way they played gave me a lot of confidence heading into this season.

JJ and Snelling both had 3 goals and Jordan Ridley had a great game with a screamer early in the 3rd quarter.

There was a big turnout with fans back, hungry to watch some footy.

There are more games tomorrow and the rest of the week that I will keep an eye on and will probably do a recap on Sunday afternoon, maybe on Monday on my website.

As an Essendon fan I was really excited to see them beat last year's grandfinalists and play a great brand of footy.
