I wrote this manuscript to answer questions and respond to requests by thousands of aspiring book authors in my circles who wanted a step-by-step blueprint in simple language to emulate my approach.

Lessons on Superlearning, Creativity, Productivity, Editing, Publishing, Audience Building, and Leaving a Legacy

Have you ever dreamed of writing a book but felt there was never enough time?

Perhaps you have accumulated decades of knowledge, experience, lessons, and stories but never found a practical way to turn them into a book. Or you believe successful authors possess special talents, abundant free time, or opportunities unavailable to ordinary people.

I once thought the same. For 46 years, I balanced demanding professional responsibilities with a lifelong passion for learning, research, writing, and publishing.

During those years, I worked full-time in technology, consulting, leadership, architecture, education, and entrepreneurship while raising a family, managing commitments, meeting deadlines, and facing many of the same challenges faced by millions of professionals worldwide.

Yet over those decades, I wrote and published more than sixty books. This book explains how. It is the story of how an ordinary professional with the same twenty-four hours as everyone else gradually turned decades of learning into sixty books.

I did not begin with a goal of becoming a prolific author. I started with curiosity. I wanted to understand how people learn, think, create, communicate, solve problems, improve their health, build successful careers, and live meaningful lives.

Every book emerged from questions, observations, personal experiments, scientific research, professional experiences, and conversations with remarkable people.

Along the way, I discovered that writing books had very little to do with finding extra time. The real challenge was learning how to reclaim time and having a practical framework.

Like many people, I spent years dealing with distractions, unnecessary meetings, excessive media consumption, long commutes, digital interruptions, and countless activities that consumed attention and energy.

Once I learned to identify these patterns and make conscious choices about my priorities, I gradually recovered thousands of hours that I could invest in learning, writing, editing, and creating. Small improvements repeated consistently over decades produced extraordinary results.

In this book titled **How I Wrote 60 Books in 46 Years While Working Full Time**, I share the practical systems, habits, and mental models that helped me write while maintaining a demanding career.

I explain how superlearning accelerated my growth as a writer and book author, how reading thousands of books improved my thinking and other cognitive abilities, and how consistent daily progress allowed large projects to emerge from modest writing sessions.

I also discuss mistakes, setbacks, disappointments, and lessons learned. Writing sixty books was never a straight path. Some projects exceeded my expectations. Others became valuable teachers through failure. Both experiences contributed to my development as an author and lifelong learner.

The publishing world changed dramatically during my career. I experienced traditional publishing, hybrid publishing, self-publishing, digital publishing, online communities, subscription platforms, artificial intelligence, and direct-to-reader business models. I eventually created my own bookstore to gain greater independence and freedom as an author.

This book explains what I learned from each stage of that evolution and how aspiring authors can make informed decisions in a rapidly changing publishing environment.

More importantly, this book explores a less spoken truth that many people overlook. Writing a book is about much more than publishing. It looks simple, but it is a very tedious and time-consuming process. However, it brings many tangible and intangible benefits. For example:

Writing helps clarify thinking. It deepens learning. It preserves knowledge. It strengthens communication. It creates financial opportunities. It builds credibility. It allows us to contribute something valuable to future generations. A book can become one of the most meaningful intellectual assets a person creates during a lifetime.

I wrote this book for aspiring authors, professionals, educators, consultants, coaches, freelancers, researchers, journalists, entrepreneurs, retirees, and late beginners who believe their experiences deserve to be shared.

This book is for people who have spent years learning, serving, building, teaching, and growing, and now want to convert that knowledge and experience into books that educate, inspire, and benefit others.

You do not need extraordinary talent, perfect conditions, and unlimited free time. You need a practical approach, a commitment to learning, and the willingness to make steady progress in small steps over time.

If I could write 60 books while working full-time over 46 years, raising kids, and undertaking extracurricular and altruistic activities, I believe many more people with passion can write the books they have been carrying within them for years.

My goal in writing this book is to help you learn from my successes, mistakes, hard-learned lessons, setbacks, discoveries, and experiences so you can create your own path as an author, share your knowledge with confidence, build a meaningful audience, and leave a legacy that continues creating value long after the final page is written.

Everyone might have a different goal in writing books. In my case, I did not write these books to make a living, as my income from my content goes to my altruistic pursuits, but I use writing as an avenue to express myself, improve my cognitive reserves, maintain my sanity through expressive writing, and share my knowledge with others to be helpful.

Before saying goodbye to this ephemeral world, my next milestone is to leave 100 books behind as my legacy to the next generation, as previous generous thought leaders did for us. How about your goals as a creator?

In an upcoming story, I will share the summary of the chapters. I will also start the alpha reading of this manuscript in July and the beta reading between August and November to make it ready **for publication and global distribution on 1 December 2026 in digital, paperback, hardcover, large print, and audio formats.
