Typology Center activities during the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026

Bullying exists all over the world. It is present in Norway as well, as stated by the Ministry of Education. Earlier, they published statistics showing that approximately 5.5-6% of children experience bullying during the year across Norway. However, it is not specified whether this refers to one‑time incidents or whether repeated bullying of the same child by the same perpetrator throughout the year was also counted.

We, the Typology Center, are a very young and small NGO registered in the summer of 2025. During the second half of 2025, we focused on theoretical preparation, and in 2026 we sent our proposal by email to almost all schools in the cities of Oslo and Bergen. According to the municipality’s website, Oslo has 192 schools, while Bergen has 86. In total, that is 278 schools, excluding only a few to which we did not send our letters (these were either schools not intended for children or seasonal institutions related to temporary summer activities).

In our proposal, we informed school staff and principals that we have new theoretical developments and certain insights into how bullying among children can be eradicated or, with some probability, prevented — based on our knowledge and perspective. The letter also included an offer to conduct a one‑time lecture free of charge at the school.
