Some People Have No Rhythm (And It Shows)

Let’s just start with a slightly truth: Some people simply have absolutely no rhythm. And honestly? It’s a disaster.

In music, tempo is the invisible law of the room. It decides exactly how fast or slow a song is going to breathe. But the secret they don’t tell you is that tempo isn’t just meant for music.

You can spot the people without an internal metronome instantly. They are the ones stumbling clumsily through life. They rush through the absolute best parts, terrified of lingering, or they drag their feet when the momentum should be electric. They treat their own lives like a song they want to get over with.

But when you truly understand tempo, you don’t just follow it — you play with it. Whenever I listen to a track where the tempo stays perfectly steady, but the beat suddenly shifts, I get this literal tickle down my spine. It’s a sensory shock.
