向所有反抗中国暴政、抵制中国非法扩张的朋友们问好！

我是Shepherd，云南独立运动成员之一。今天，我们聚集在这里，为了同一个目的 — — 谴责中国侵犯周边国家利益的行为。

云南曾经是一个独立的内陆国家，无需对西菲律宾海主张任何法律或历史权利。然而，云南可能是东南亚地区最早也是最频繁遭受中国扩张的受害者。中国通过无情的扩张，对云南进行了无限的战争，使云南从一个与东南亚紧密相连的古老独立王国变成了一个长期遭受人道主义迫害和资源掠夺的省份。

虽然云南没有海洋权利，但我们在陆地的经历与越南、菲律宾、香港、广东人民今天面临的情况是一样的：中国首先扩大影响力，对其他国家的领土或海域主张合法主权，然后开始未经许可开发这些地区，用暴力强迫屈服。

云南在对华战争中不幸战败，我们留下了美丽的风景被污染，给我们的人民留下了无尽的苦难。我们看着香港和广东，为我们共同的悲惨命运而感叹；当我们看到越南、菲律宾的弟兄时，我们心里只剩下担忧，担心云南曾经遭受的苦难会发生在你们和你们的子孙身上。

作为一名云南人，我觉得有必要站出来和你们一起反对中国。因为我们不仅有地理上的联系，而且还有一个崇高的目标：把中国从我们的陆地和海洋上赶走，为我们的子孙后代创造光明的未来。

Hello to all friends who resist the tyranny of China and boycott its illegal expansion. I am Shepherd, one of the members of the Yunnan Independence Movement. Today, we gather here for the same purpose — to denounce China’s infringement on the interests of neighboring countries. Yunnan, once an independent landlocked nation, does not need to claim any legal or historical rights to the West Philippine Sea. However, Yunnan might be the Southeast Asian region’s earliest and most frequently suffering victim of Chinese expansion. Through relentless expansion, China has waged a limitless war on Yunnan, turning it from an ancient independent kingdom closely connected with Southeast Asia into a province long suffering from humanitarian persecution and resource plundering. Although Yunnan does not have maritime rights, our terrestrial experiences are identical to what the people of Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and cantonia are facing today: China first expands its influence, claims legal authority over other countries’ territories or maritime areas, then starts to develop these regions without permission, using violence to force submission. Yunnan has unfortunately lost its war against China, leaving us with a polluted beautiful landscape and endless suffering for our people. We look at Hong Kong and Cantonia and lament our shared tragic civil struggles; when we see our brethren in Vietnam and the Philippines, we are left with only concerns, fearing that what Yunnan once suffered might happen to you and your descendants. As a person from Yunnan, I feel it is imperative to stand up and join you in opposing China. Because we share not only geographic ties but also a noble goal: to drive China off our lands and seas and create a bright future for our descendants.
