Maybe some things are not meant to last. Our mindset, likings, or anything else change over time due to our experiences, influences, and environment. Some are things you still like, some just keep coming back, and some just make you feel like you’ve liked them before.

It’s relapsing—when you’re used to something and you just keep coming back. It’s like using an illegal drug. You just have relapses, no control, and you just go back to your old habits.

You ask yourself or the universe why your feelings keep coming back. Is it truly the end, or did it never really start, so you just feel like something is missing?

Maybe you still like them, but over time your feelings change. It’s like the seasons are changing—it’s a cycle.

Sometimes there are new beginnings like spring.

Sometimes the heat of the golden sun touches your skin, and you know it’s summer.

Some moments are just leaves falling from the tree—letting go of the things that do not sit right with you.

And lastly, there’s the freezing cold of winter that makes you realize you need the sun to feel warmth, and you start searching for it. And maybe feelings are like that too.
