Yes, It’s True This Is All My Fault

From the very beginning, when you confessed your feelings to me, I don’t know why, but I felt afraid.

It wasn’t because I didn’t love you — honestly, I did love you too.

But maybe I was thinking too much about what the future would be like. I felt unworthy, not ready to have someone or be someone’s.

Forgive me — for being such a coward.

Deep down, from the depths of my heart, I longed for someone — just to share stories with, to pour out my worries, and to feel loved.

But isn’t that selfish of me? When I’m still far from enough, still far from being someone worthy of having or being had.

I’m sorry for all the lies I’ve told, and I’m sorry, too, for the love I never had the courage to express.
