How Jito Bundles Work on Solana — And Why They’re Essential for Pump.fun Launches

If you’ve launched a token on Pump.fun recently, you’ve probably been sniped. Bots buy in block 1–2 before retail even sees your token. The solution? Jito MEV bundles.

What is a Jito Bundle?

A Jito bundle is a group of up to 5 Solana transactions that execute atomically in the same block. Either ALL transactions land together, or NONE of them do.

For token launches on Pump.fun, this means: your create transaction and buy transactions from multiple wallets all land in block 0 — the very first block after your token exists.

Why Block 0 Matters

Pump.fun uses a bonding curve. Earlier buyers get lower prices. Block 0 buyers might pay 0.000001 SOL per token. Block 5 buyers (after snipers) pay 0.00001–10x more expensive.

How to Execute a Jito Bundle

1. Build all transactions (create + buy × N wallets)

3. Send to Jito block engine across multiple endpoints simultaneously
4. Jito validator includes your entire bundle in one block

The tip to Jito validators (usually 0.003–0.01 SOL) determines priority. Higher tip = higher chance of block 0 inclusion.
