How Does An OBE Happen?

OBE — (Out Of Body Experience) snip-it from my memoir From Color To The Cosmos — I will say this in reference to an OBE — the key to having this unfold, if that is what you want, is being VERY, VERY tired to the point of exhaustion, where your etheric body disconnects from your physical body way too fast.

“The bed felt so good, so comfortable. With connected hands across my chest and fingers intertwined, an onlooker would think they were viewing someone in final their final resting position. Sinking into the middle of the bed, my spine began to decompress from the stress of the day. My head submerged into a rectangle of feathers and the world of dreams was just a breath away.

As breaths slowed, my eyes got heavier. Exhales and inhales were evenly spaced and relaxing. As time passed, every breath took me to a magical place where just the three of us were, me myself and I.

What felt like just seconds, I found myself ultimately still. In a very comfortable position on my back with hands folded, and probably ankles crossed as well, my body turned to butter as a deep state of relaxation was just moments away.

Then something weird happened. Even though I knew my body was still, it felt like my upper body was flailing like a twirly girl at a Grateful Dead concert. I had to open my eyes to be sure, and there they were, still on my chest with my fingers clasped together.”
