My Very First Blog

Hi! I am Jahz Peralta. This is my very first blog. I want to dedicate this blog to my Lord, Jesus Christ, the Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit.

I have been lukewarm for years, and I don’t really understand what it truly means to be saved. This year, 2026, is the year where I finally discover Jesus Christ.

Up till now I am still a baby when it comes to the Bible and knowing God. I am still learning, and I still struggle to apply what I already know is right. If you are like me and are also new or just started coming back to God, I hope my blog will help you in your own struggles in life.

In this blog, I cover my life, my life with God, my relationship, being with friends and more about me and what I have learnt every day of my life.

Another reason I created this blog is because it helps me when I am alone and feeling lonely or sad. I think when this feeling comes in, that is when I am more in tune with my heart and soul.

To share a little bit about me, I am an only child, and I have been indoors since I was young. I would only go out if there were something I needed to do, like going to school or church, hanging out with friends, grocery shopping, self-dating and doing errands with my mom.

Now that I am old, I am currently in my 20s. I am still an indoor person, and I only go out if I need to buy something; rare times are to hang out with friends. The majority of my days I stayed at home.

I also discovered that I have a narcissistic mother, but I try to keep my space so we won’t argue all the time. I have also been in a long-distance relationship for 5 years now. I used to have a big group of friends, but now, I can only count them on my fingers.

I am currently unemployed, but I am trying to find my path when it comes to this. In fact, resigning at my old company is the best decision I have made. Before I resigned, I told myself, “It will be all up to God on what will happen to me next” because I don’t have any plan at all. I just resigned and hope for the best.

After that, I went back to God again. This time I finally understand how to receive the gift of salvation, how to have a relationship with him, and how to recognise his blessings. Before, I couldn’t finish a book from the Bible, but now I started from Genesis, and now I am in 1st Samuel.

I can’t wait to share more about my life with God and my struggles. My only goal is to release my sadness and loneliness by sharing my story and maybe even find people who will relate with me and for my blog to be helpful advice or reflections to anyone.
