In a time of change, who inspires wins

In a churning world, no-one knows what is going to happen next. A fire or flood might devastate a town. A computer program might pass the entrance exams for some of the world’s best law schools, business schools, and medical schools. An unknown virus might close down the world economy for two years.

In a churning world, the only thing we can know for certain is that the future is unpredictable — and all ways forward are likely to be difficult.

This means that, in a churning world, what drives success is no longer the ability to predict what will happen next or repeat the actions that worked in the past. In a churning world, what drives success is the ability to keep going, no matter what happens.

And the best way we can do that is by finding the way forward that **most inspires us**.

When we **find what we love, we wake up every morning, [longing](http://www.thechurning.net/recipe-for-an-inspiring-vision/)** to do what needs to be done.
