The ancients have spoken to me since I directed Sophocles’ ELEKTRA at Ramapo College, and THE WOMEN OF TRACHIS with Ellen Lanese playing all the parts in a virtuoso way that moved everyone who saw them. “Whiteness” is a foreign concept to me as a Grandfather emigrated from Italy and my Irish roots. I remember being discriminated against as a Northerner in VA and S. Carolina. We desperately need an awareness of Culture and History good and bad. There is no other.

If djt is the “guardian” of Western Civilization why did UN diplomats laugh at him during his speech ? Civilized (djt), in what sense ? Emphasize guard as in prison; his former employee’s or con men, now pardoned ? Pardon me My Certificate in Ethics from Rutgers, a Master of Arts from The American University and working in the Arts in Western Civilization from Sophocles plays to us. Djt is the Fall of the American Empire at best or even more brutality for discourse, honesty, history and truth for the rest of US(a).
