The Cursed Castle (Part 1)

For centuries, an abandoned castle stood deep within the Blackwood Forest, surrounded by chilling rumors. The locals believed it was cursed. According to the legend, anyone who entered its gates would never return alive. Some claimed they had heard screams echoing from its halls at midnight, while others swore they had seen ghostly figures watching from the broken windows. Over the years, dozens of explorers had vanished without a trace, leaving behind nothing but unanswered questions.

Most people feared the castle.

William didn't.

A well-known livestreamer who specialized in exploring haunted locations, William had built a reputation for exposing myths and proving that supernatural stories were nothing more than fear and imagination. When he announced that he would spend an entire night exploring the infamous castle live, thousands of viewers tuned in.

The stream began just after sunset.

Holding a flashlight in one hand and a camera in the other, William stepped through the rusted gates. Dust covered every hallway. Torn paintings hung crooked on the walls, and old chandeliers swayed gently even though there was no wind.

"So this is the place everyone is terrified of," William laughed. "Honestly, it doesn't look that scary."

For the first twenty minutes, nothing unusual happened. He walked through empty bedrooms, grand halls, and forgotten corridors while joking with his viewers. Every room seemed abandoned for decades.

Then everything changed.

A loud metallic sound echoed through the castle.

William stopped.

"Did you guys hear that?"

The comments exploded with warnings, telling him to leave immediately.

Before he could investigate, the lights on his camera flickered violently. The picture froze for a second.

Then the livestream suddenly went black.

No signal.

No audio.

No goodbye.

The broadcast ended without explanation.

The following morning, police officers entered the castle after receiving dozens of emergency calls from William's viewers.

What they discovered shocked the entire country.

William's lifeless body was hanging from the castle's enormous chandelier. Blood slowly dripped onto the stone floor beneath him. His face was frozen in absolute terror, as if he had witnessed something beyond human understanding.

Investigators searched every corner of the castle. They dusted for fingerprints, collected samples, and examined every room.

Nothing.

No footprints.

No murder weapon.

No evidence that anyone else had even been inside the castle.

With no suspects and no clues, the investigation eventually came to a dead end. The authorities officially closed the case, calling it an unexplained death.

But not everyone accepted that conclusion.

William's four closest friends—Kitty, Tina, Chris, and Bill—refused to believe that their friend had simply died without explanation.

"We owe him the truth," Kitty said.

Ignoring the government's warning and the ban on entering the castle, the four friends made a dangerous decision.

They would return to the cursed castle themselves.
