Editable Unicode Grid

In the past months or so, an early alpha version without an editable grid was made public. (See previous article for download link).

The developers have worked very hard to make the grids editable instead of being read-only and somewhat static.

The below video shows teaser proof-of-concept app, a smaller version of SS with main grid-editing functionality, minus all the dialogs.

This proof of concept (video below and screenshots below) is an accumulation of years of work, dozens of prototypes.

The folder list is editable, and multi-selectable, as shown below.

Improved Visual Importer

The File | Import has gone through many changes. Importer now includes visual way to import selected fields.

The Add by Form has undergone much improvement —

Status Bar and Menu Enhancements

There is a new status bar element — a 3 square glyph at the left side.

Menu captions are changed to present tense and **bold **if enabled, to emphasize on current setting —

Columns are now hidden

Columns are now visible (bold emphasis)
