Surprise! DeSantis’ candidate for college president has no qualifications and a criminal history

In his never-ending quest to outdo North Korea in indoctrination, the Florida Fuhrer picks a new president for South Florida State College.

The only problem the governor had was that his candidate had no doctorate degree as required by the college. No problem! The college simply dropped the requirement.

Now State Representative Fred Hawkins — who claims to have an undergraduate degree in political science — can assume command of the South Florida State Indoctrination Academy, formerly known as South Florida State College.

In what might be a first, even for Florida, Hawkins will be the only Florida college president with a mug shot. He was arrested for impersonating a police officer, a third degree felony, but squirmed out of a conviction by accepting a diversion program.

South Florida State College is just the most recent victim of the Florida Fuhrer’s assault on state colleges and universities. Florida New College, in Sarasota, is now run by a MAGA Christofascist.
