The Google Trends graph shows the comparison of the search interest in the US in 2023 from when the movies Barbie (blue) and Oppenheimer (red). When both movies were released at the same time in theaters in late July, there was a huge spike in the searches for both of them. The graph indicates that Barbie received more searches on popularity than Oppenheimer did. After a while, the searches for both movies progressively decreased all year long before ending it off in October 2023. This obviously happens when things looses their hype, but this would be a time where people will remember as Barbenheimer.
