Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Marrakech: Arrive and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna, Morocco’s most famous square. Meet your ONMT-licensed guide, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and overnight in a beautiful riad in the medina.

Day 2 — Marrakech to Ouarzazate: Cross the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage kasbah of Ait Benhaddou — filming location of Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.

Day 3 — Ouarzazate to Dades Gorges: Journey through the Valley of Roses, Skoura palm grove, and arrive at the spectacular Dades Gorges where the canyon walls glow red in the afternoon light.

Day 4 — Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi): The highlight of the tour. Pass through the Todra Gorges, arrive at Erg Chebbi as the sun turns the dunes gold. Board your camel and ride into the heart of the desert to your luxury tented camp. Berber dinner under a sky blazing with stars.

Day 5 — Sahara Sunrise to Midelt: Wake before dawn to watch the most spectacular sunrise of your life. Visit a Gnawa music village and travel through the Middle Atlas mountains to Midelt.

Day 6 — Midelt to Fes: Pass through the cedar forests of Azrou where wild Barbary macaques play. Arrive in Fes, one of the world’s most extraordinary medieval cities.

Day 7 — Full Day Fes: A full day guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali medina — the world’s largest living medieval city. Visit Al-Qarawiyyin University (founded 859 AD), the famous Chouara tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the ancient spice souks.

Day 8 — Departure: Free morning to explore Fes independently or shop for souvenirs. Airport transfer and end of tour.
