My Performance Art Drawing 2022–23

In 2022 and 2023, I did two performances in Marshall, Texas. I made work very similar to the performance art of Tony Orrico. After I produced the geometric works, I was inspired to do a second work related to my own obsession with word art. I began to write the conversations of people backwards and forwards in a circle. I wrote cursive, and I moved around the canvas with charcoal. Below are my first and second performances. In the second performance, I switched to chalk pastel. I abandoned my Orrico-based work and moved into furthering my development of my own writing performance style.
