3 Years of Meta Pool: A Message from the Founders

We have reached a very important milestone for the Meta Pool DAO, we are celebrating 3 years of our mainnet launch. It has gone as quickly as we could have ever imagined, it is by far the greatest achievement that anyone of our team members could have asked for.

Our DAO is alive and kicking, with more than 500 unique wallets interacting with our platform to support validator nodes, community initiatives and builders. We are the first DAO to support research students from Latin America to attend the University of Zurich Blockchain Center Summer School program.

We are actively funding and supporting the crypto ecosystem from Frontier Markets; we want to spearhead impact staking globally, we have strive to achieve real world impact and we demonstrated that it requires a focus on value accrual for our users through governance.

It has not been an easy road, we built throughout the ups and downs; we faced challenges and we have delivered on our commitments to our community. We are the first multi-chain governed liquid staking platform.

And it all started with an Argentinian and Mexican team, proudly made in Latin America to onboard global adoption of blockchain technology. The team quickly grew and we saw individual contributors join from Brazil, Ecuador, Indonesia, Korea, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Vietnam and places we never knew that crypto was having an impact.

This could not have been achieved without your support. The achievements are all yours, we have just built the technology, each and every one of you delegated and voted to create the underlying network of our DAO.

We look forward to the future, which is very bright although still uncertain. Because crypto is being built in front of our own eyes, one bit and block at a time.

It is important to revise our Manifesto and Values, as we grow we need to keep ourselves in check at all times. Because we will be onboarding new members into our DAO and by keeping ourselves true to the values we believe will allow us to succeed in decentralizing our protocol; the outcome will be towards the good of the community.

Starting the year we published our values and manifesto, because we needed clear guidelines for our community and a source of truth for everyone that is involved in our governance, partnerships and collaborations with our DAO.

It is not set in stone and it will evolve, we feel that this set of values will set a standard for engagements between all our stakeholders.
